Leadership
Veronica Saykally, Director
Veronica began working with the Bridge Community 10 years ago, but had volunteered for about 15 years prior. Veronica is married with 3 children. In her free time, Veronica loves to read, cook, and spend time with her grandchildren. Her favorite thing about working at the Bridge Community is that it feels like a second family and not just a place to work. Bridge Community is her home.
Sr Mary Catherine, S.L. , Founder
Sr. Mary Catherine Widger, S.L. has been with The Bridge Community since its founding in 1985. She has spent the last 35 years living in community with our residents and has provided remarkable stability and leadership to our program over the years. In her free time, Sr. Mary Catherine loves reading, listening to music, being in nature, and going on road trips.
Fr. Roland Freeman, Chaplain
Fr. Freeman became involved with the Bridge Community in 1985 and has served as Executive Director and chaplain since 1998. His warm demeanor fills our home with an atmosphere of love and respect. He loves to celebrate the Eucharist with the community and is is often found sharing life with our residents. In his free time, Fr. Freeman loves to read, take walks, and spend time with Houston, our community dog.
