What We Do
The Bridge Community “bridges” the gap between differences in age and ability.
The Bridge Community is licensed and certified by the State of Colorado as a community-based, intermediate-care facility for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We are the only home in Colorado which encourages residents and staff to live together in a community with reciprocal sharing of gifts, talents, and needs. By living together in intentional mutuality, we recognize our need for each other, and are able to celebrate the gift of each person.
Following in the steps of Jesus
We seek to do more than outreach work. We seek a radical way of living and being with the people we serve. This solidarity creates a new family in which each person inspires others with courage, joy, and selfless love. These mutual relationships among residents and staff reveal that in and despite our limitations, we are all gifted and needed.
We provide high quality care for the body and the soul.
The Bridge Community is the only Catholic group home in the State of Colorado and has the ability to provide care for eight adult women.
Rooted in our Catholic faith, we believe in the inherent dignity of every human person. Our home works to ensure that all people, regardless of abilities, are offered love and a place of authentic belonging.
